Lake County Indiana Boat Accident With A Child Rescued

Lake County Sheriff was notified of a boat with the throttle stuck and a 5 year old stranded. The parents had been thrown off and the boat kept doing water donuts. Diver Marty Butler repeatedly threw large diameter ropes into the boats path trying to bind the outboard. Eventually the boat a rock bank throwing the child across the boat. Marty quickly boarded the boat and rescued the child. Both parents and the child were reunited that day and suffered minor injuries.
